Nanotechnology Center for Collaborative Research and Development [NCCRD] - University of Wisconsin-Platteville
The mission of the center is to foster collaboration among the comprehensive UW System campuses to result in innovation in the science and engineering of nanotechnology to serve the people of Wisconsin and the Midwest region through high-tech business development; education of students to participate fully in knowledge-economy careers and to develop entrepreneurial competencies, and creation of knowledge for the public good. The center is a joint initiative with the WiSys Technology Foundation . James Hamilton, Wisconsin distinguished professor and professor of chemistry at UWP, will serve as director.
