The Third International Innovation and Technology Exhibition was held in Tehran International Permanent Fairground on May 23-25, 2014.

The organizers of the exhibition aimed at creating an appropriate environment for technology exchange between powerful foreign companies and Iranian knowledge-based and technologist companies, developing international technological cooperation, facilitating the transfer of technology into the country and properly introducing Iran and its scientific and technological abilities to the other countries.

120 companies participated in the exhibition, including 58 domestic companies and a number of foreign firms such as 32 companies and research centers approved by Russia, 16 confirmed companies from India, two companies from South Korea, and companies from Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, China and Turkey.

A few companies active in the field of nanotechnology, including Nano Mavad Pars, KEFA, and Ara Pajouhesh participated in in the exhibition and put on display their innovative achievements in the field of nanotechnology.

In INOTEX2014, international and domestic companies presented their latest technological and innovative achievements in the fields of communication and information technology, oil, gas, petrochemicals, industrial automation and intelligent systems, biotechnology, nanotechnology, new energies, aerospace, medical devices, geology and new materials.

The first exhibition was attended by 60 international companies, among which the majority were from Russia. The second exhibition was held with the participation of 75 international companies from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
