Premier Healthcare Pitch Competition comes to Atlanta this May

Atlanta, GA | Posted on April 12th, 2014

"Raising capital can be a daunting and strenuous process, but it does not have to be," says Chris Fair, founder and President of Round2Funding, Inc. "By providing companies with the correct tools to successfully raise capital and connect them with the right Investors, the fundraising process can be seamless."

According to the Wall Street Journal, "[medical startup and biotechnology] first round financing is on pace to reach $259.73 million this year, less than half the amount in 2007 and down 21% from last year." Companies are now turning to family offices and high net worth individuals for funding. Companies however, have a hard time finding Family Offices and individual Investors. Mr. Fair knew there was an opportunity to capitalize on the healthcare Companies not just in Southeast, but across the globe.

Round2Funding's Investor network is targeted towards Family Offices, high net worth individuals, and large angel groups. Round2Funding Investors are looking to invest in healthcare startups transitioning from product validation to commercialization. Round2Funding seeks to simplify the match making process by providing Investors with a secure portal to view healthcare startups while maintaining their anonymity.

"With little effort on our end, Round2Funding enables us to review deal flow we may not find on our own while keeping our identity private," says Will Loving, Altron Investments.

Round2Funding is now accepting applications for The MAIN EVENT at www.round2funding.com/main-event.
