Speak live with Dalma Novak, IEEE Photonics Society (IPS) President-Elect and Co-Founder/Vice President of Engineering at Pharad, LLC. Through the Ustream Live-Chat, operated by IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE), Novak will discuss her experience in the photonics field and goals as the future IEEE Photonics Society President.

Learn why Novak is well-primed for advising on the Society's future, as a member of the IPS Board of Govenors, IPS Treasurer, and Co-Founder of the IEEE Victoria Section of Australia. Novak started IEEE as a student member and then went on to be an active leader in the IEEE Photonics Society. She also volunteers as an Associate Editor for several society publications and serves as both a program and general chair for the IEEE Photonics Conference.
