Minalogic Executives Available for Interviews at EuroMedTech May 31-June 1 in Grenoble: Minalogic Is a Global Leader in Projects that Apply Smart Miniaturized Systems To Biology and Healthcare

Grenoble, France | Posted on May 21st, 2012

Minalogic members include more than three-dozen global and regional companies participating in biology and healthcare-related projects through Minalogic. Chabbal and Boulanger will be able to provide updates on a variety of projects Minalogic is involved in, such as:

- The Heart-Beat Scavenger project, which is targeting an energy self-sufficient device that harvests mechanical energy from the movements of the heart, eliminating the need for batteries and post-implant surgeries to replace them.

- The FluMin3 project, whose goal is to develop a new generation of MEMS-based injection devices for single-dose medication that automatically adapts to intradermal, subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.

Minalogic brings together the Rhône-Alpes region's leading innovators in the field of smart miniaturized systems in biomed, energy efficiency, connectivity mobility and other areas. By leveraging the area's synergies between research, higher education and industry, it has achieved a global leadership position in smart embedded systems.

About Minalogic
Created in 2005, the Minalogic global competitive cluster in Grenoble is a public/private partnership with more than 200 members dedicated to supporting integration of hardware and embedded software. Minalogic’s collaborative projects are focused on developing products and services that capitalize on the potential of better combinations of micro- and nanotechnology and embedded software. The cluster encourages and supports industry research-training collaborations with companies in Europe, Asia and the U.S., while responding to the global high-tech community's need to identify new value-added services that can be integrated into existing products in health care, the environment, mobility, the media, the textile industry and other areas.
