Tehran, Iran | Posted on March 5th, 2012
The five fields of energy, hygiene, water and environment, building, automobile, and production of basic nanomaterials are among the prior issues of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council.
"Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council generally supports all industrial companies that are active in the field of nanotechnology. However, industries that are active in the prior aspects will receive more supports," Dr. Asadifard stated.
Pointing to the presence of over 130 companies active in the field of nanotechnology in the country, Asadifard continued, "Pursuant to the progress in nanoscience, there are various companies active in the field of nanotechnology in the country at the moment, including 35 companies active in the field of materials, 24 equipment manufacturing companies, 16 building companies, 15 companies in health and hygiene section, 13 companies in petroleum and petrochemical section, 11 companies in agriculture and packaging industry, 11 companies in textile industry, 8 automobile manufacturing companies and 3 companies in water and environment industry."
According to him, carrying out studies, monitoring and technology achievement, production of products, acquiring required standards and certificates, and market-making and marketing in nanotechnology are among the issues that will be supported by Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council in order to help the industries to be active in the field of nanotechnology.
