Abstract:
Interest in the neurotransmitter is based on evidence that knowledge of how they function provides insight into the cause of some diseases, the effects of certain substances, and the behavior of organisms. Myasthenia gravis, which is a disease characterized by weakness of muscles and fatigue, is caused by a disturbance in the action of acetylcholine on skeletal muscles and is now treated by drugs that enhance the effect of acetylcholine. The discovery that dopamine-containing neurons in the brain of Parkinson's disease victims degenerate, which results in the shuffling gait and trembling characteristic of the disease, led to the use of levodopa, a compound that replaces dopamine.

Neurotransmitters are the naturally occurring chemicals inside your body that transmit messages between nerve cells. In the brain alone there are 183 different neurotransmitters. Two major neurotransmitters are serotonin and catecholamines, which includes norepinephrine, epinephrine, and dopamine.

For years it has been known in medicine that low levels of various neurotransmitters can cause many diseases and illness. Some of the diseases and/or illnesses caused by or associated with low levels of Serotonin and/or Norepinephrine include such diseases as: depression, moody, anxiety, anorexia, migraines, etc. Also Parkinson, Alzheimer disease and bipolar disorder caused with lack or inefficient neurotransmitter transport.

Dangerously low or absence or most neurotransmitters or their corresponding receptors can lead to coma or death.

If you have neurotransmitter deficiency, most likely you have been given a medicine that will reduce the symptoms but are not curative. Although effective to some degree in reducing symptoms, in the long run the medications can actually make the underlying neurotransmitter deficiency worse. For example, if you have depressive symptoms caused by low levels of serotonin, taking a "SSRI" medication such as Prozac, Zoloft, Celexa, or Paxil is merely tricking the brain into thinking that it has more serotonin.

But artificial neurotransmitters, delivered by nanomechanical capsula, can treat many of these diseases more effective.

Artificial neurotransmitter capsula will inject neurotransmitters in controlled manner, using electromagnetic antenna. Antenna activated only with arrival of action potential electromagnetic impulse, which propagated along axon. Moreover, neurotransmitter molecules will be injected only when capsula attached to the synapse. That's why capsula coated by binding proteins.
