Abstract:
Reflecting on the growing trend toward product miniaturisation across an increasing number of manufacturing sectors, MM LIVE, MEMS LIVE and NANO LIVE have rapidly grown to become one of Europe's largest annual exhibitions and conferences to focus on micro, precision, nano and MEMS manufacturing technologies. With over 100 market-leading exhibitors and 2,000 visitors in attendance in 2011, the combination of these events provides a genuine one-stop shop for manufacturers for whom innovation can be enabled through micro, nano or MEMS manufacturing technologies.

MM, MEMS & NANO Live UK 2012

Birmingham, UK | Posted on December 12th, 2011

On the back of a successful debut in 2011, the 2012 event will see the ever-growing micro manufacturing event MM Live UK co-locate with MEMS Live UK, specifically focusing on Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) manufacturing technologies. Often integrated in both MEMS and micro manufacturing, nano manufacturing technologies also have their own dedicated area on the exhibition floor with NANO Live UK.

MM LIVE, MEMS LIVE And NANO LIVE draw a wide spectrum of manufacturers from Medical Device, Electronics and telecom products through to aerospace, defence and autosport. Visitors are seeking a variety of solutions from laser micro machining to micro moulding through to design and fabrication, assembly, inspection and test technologies.

Continuing our commitment to educating the manufacturing community, the conference and seminar programmes that accompany MM Live UK, MEMS Live UK and NANO Live UK are free to attend and there are no registration fees. Included within these programmes is the increasingly renowned Micro Manufacturing Conference, which is characterised by high-quality presentations from technology innovators and leading lights from across the globe. This powerful combination of conference and exhibition ensures that the show is an essential part of any engineering and manufacturing organisation's calendar.

Combined, these are "new technology" events that are changing the way manufacturers operate. They are co-located with TCT Live, the leading technology event for new product development and additive manufacturing, Sensing Technology and Mediplas. The shows complement each other well, sharing visitors that represent the cream of manufacturing, typically senior engineers and directors responsible for the production of market-leading brands. Visitors are investors in new technologies and belong to organisations that thrive on innovation and being first to market.

The events benefit from the full support of the industry leading publications Commercial Micro Manufacturing and MEMS Technology Review; and from key industry partners including MANCEF, MEMS Industry Group, Yole Developpement, Nanotechnology KTN, Institute of Nanotechnology, JEMI, AILU, GTMA and BTMA.
