The Graphene Flagship is pleased to announce the workshop "Graphene for Future Emerging Technologies: Challenges and Opportunities" that will take place in Madrid, Spain on October 18th, 2011.
Graphene Flagship announces the workshop: Graphene for Future Emerging Technologies
Madrid, Spain | Posted on October 6th, 2011This workshop aims to present the current state of the art and the opportunities of graphene-based materials/devices and related structures for future emerging technologies in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. Focus will be made on identifying the directions of promising innovation and disruptive technologies, including flexible electronics and transparent conductors, high frequency devices, digital logic, spintronics, nanoelectromechanical devices, ultimate sensors and bio-related applications. Challenges in the fields of ultimate microelectronics, energy dissipation and thermal management, advanced composites for aeronautics, and large scale graphene production and device integration will be discussed.
The organizers of this one-day workshop invited 20 speakers from well know institutions as Nokia, Texas Instruments, Samsung, IBM, Airbus, among others. Registration must be done prior to the event at Graphene Flagship website and attendance is free of charge.
This gathering will allow the interaction and discussion between participants and, therefore, a good place to foster relationships and networking.
