Taiwan Nano Exhibition kicks off

Abstract:
The development of nanotechnology has created differentiations in traditional industries, leading to new added value, Vice Minister of Economic Affairs Hwang Jung-chiou said Wednesday at the opening of the 2011 Taiwan Nano Exhibition.

Hwang said the focus on applications in lithium-ion batteries and semiconductors has now shifted to changes in the use of materials in the nanotech industry.

The use of new materials has created differentiations in traditional industries and further led to new added value, Hwang said at Taipei World Trade Center.
