The company also announced the appointment of Nick DeMiro and John (Pete) Salpietra to its Board of Directors.

Mr. DeMiro is the President of Mayco International LLC, a privately held global leader in automotive design, engineering, tooling and manufacturing of plastic systems and modules for the automotive industry. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, and an M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. DeMiro has eight years of active and reserve military service as an Aviation Officer in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Salpietra is the co-founder of Val-Tec Plastics, a manufacturer of plastic injection molds and, since 2005, is the majority owner and managing partner of Moose Ridge Golf Course in South Lyon, MI. In 2005, Salpietra retired from C.H. Robinson Company as its National Vice President. He attended Youngstown State University and, in 2007, founded the Salpietra Family Charitable Foundation for funding endowed scholarships at Youngstown State University.

"Jim Juliano's passion for our industry and company has been tremendously beneficial to the reorganization of Ecology Coatings," said Ecology Coatings CEO Bob Crockett. "He has become Chairman of the Board at an important juncture of the company's business strategy, and we welcome his guidance, as we position the company as a leader within the advanced coatings industry.

"We are pleased to have Nick and Pete join our board of directors," continued Crockett. "Both are well respected in their industries for their vision and leadership and bring a wealth of industry experience to the board. This is the ideal time to add their valuable strengths to our board, as we take Ecology Coatings into the future."
