Leading UK Nano Organisations lend support for NANO Live UK 2011
Tattenhall, UK | Posted on May 16th, 2011
NANO Live UK is set to become the leading B2B event for NANO Manufacturing technology. It will offer a unique opportunity to showcase and share the ideas, knowledge and contacts that will drive the full commercial potential of this exciting and groundbreaking technology sector. NANO Live will be co-located with MM Live UK and MEMS Live UK, which focus on Micro Manufacturing and Micro Electro Mechanical Systems respectively. The three shows are a natural fit alongside each other and will offer the prospective visitor a one-stop shop for small and ultra precision part technology.
Exhibits will cover the full spectrum of technologies from the NANO manufacturing sectors including fabrication techniques, inspection and measurement equipment and materials alongside research groups, contract manufacturers, consultants, trade organisations and training services.
Continuing the Rapid News commitment to education and knowledge transfer within the manufacturing community, the cutting edge seminar programmes at NANO Live UK are completely FREE to attend; there are no registration fees. Registration can be completed at www.nanoliveuk.com
Duncan Wood, Managing Director of the Events Group at RNCG comments, "We are delighted to welcome these organisations as Industry Partners on this event. We are pleased that they see the event as a significant for the UK nano landscape and we value the input, support and involvement very highly. We look forward to working with them both to make this years event a success."
Mark Morrison, CEO of the Institute of Nanotechnology (IoN) agrees "We see this event as a fantastic opportunity for all organizations involved in nanotechnology RTD to learn about UK capabilities in nano-manufacturing and, because of its critical mass, forge new business relationships."
Dr Alec Reader, Director of the NanoKTN, added "We are delighted to be supporting NANO Live. The NanoKTN's primary aim is to encourage and support UK organisations to collaborate and share knowledge with key partners in attractive end user markets to achieve growth of the UK micro and nanotechnology sector. Events like this are essential to enable those working within the manufacturing industry to openly promote and exchange ideas on the future development of nanotechnology, to ensure that the UK continues to be at the forefront of nanotechnology innovation. We hope that NANO Live will provide the UK manufacturing base with a wealth of new opportunities from opening new markets for their products to collaboration agreements with new partners to develop new and exciting products and services for emerging markets such as healthcare."
NANO Live UK will be co-located with MM Live UK, MEMS Live UK TCT Live, Interplas, The PPMA Show and Sensor Technology and the seven shows will form the largest manufacturing gathering in the UK in 2011 comprising over 500 exhibitors and an expected attendance of in excess of over 10,000 visitors.
