Abstract:
Malek-e Ashtar University of Technology in the Central Iranian city of Isfahan in association with Iran Electronics Industry (Sa-Iran), is due to hold a two-day conference entitled 'Optics and Laser Engineering in Iran' in May 2011.
The conference will be held in the International Conferences Hall of Malek-e Ashtar University of Technology, May 18-19, 2011.
One of the most important objectives of the conference is to strengthen relations between different industries and universities. Optical applications of nanostructures are among the scopes of the conference in the field of nanotechnology.
Among other programs that will be held parallel to the conference, mention can be made of holding an exhibition to display the achievements of the researchers in the field of optical equipment engineering and laser and holding two educational workshops entitled 'Production of Nanostructured Objects for Photonic Applications' and 'The Growth of Nanostructures by Pulsed Laser Ablation'.
