Abstract:
Phantoms Foundation, CIC nanoGUNE, DIPC, University of Basque Country and Bilbao Exhibition Centre, hosts of ImagineNano, are pleased to bring one of the largest 2011 European Events in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology.
ImagineNano 2011 – connecting Industry and science in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
Madrid | Posted on November 24th, 2010
The first edition of ImagineNano event will be held in 2011 from 11th until 14th of April in the North of Spain, Bilbao.
ImagineNano is arousing a huge interest from both industry and science and is expecting between 1500~2000 participants.
This newly Nanoscience & Nanotechnology concept in Europe will bring:
- 6 conferences running in parallel covering different fields (Graphene, Photonics, Energy, BioMedicine, High Performance Computing, Optics, Plasmonics, etc.)
- Industrial Exhibition
- Industrial Forum with sessions covering Instrumentation, Safety, Toxicology, Code of Conduct in N&N, Technology Transfer, Funding & Technology Internationalization, etc.
- Brokerage Event in collaboration with EEN (Enterprise Europe Network)
- Nano-Art Exhibition: The Nanoworld at a glance
High level speakers from all over the world as Andre Geim (Nobel Prize of Physics 2010) and Pedro Echenique (Prince of Asturias award for Scientific-Technological Research) will be part of this gathering.
The organization is pleased to announce that 65% of the exhibition area is already reserved with country pavilions from Austria, Russia, Denmark, Taiwan and regional ones as Rioja and Basque Country (both regions in Spain). The exhibition will cover the entire business spectrum involved in nano, not only the companies that manufacture equipment, but also those that provide services and/or are users of products and services.
ImagineNano will therefore gather global nanotechnology community, including researchers, industry policymakers, investors and plans to be a reference in Europe in the next upcoming years.
Opportunities are now available for industrial, academic and governmental organizations to share common objectives and drive the commercialization and the know-how of nanotechnology.
Deadline for abstract submission and early bird fee for exhibitors is the 14th of January 2011.
ImagineNano aims to provide an outlook of the most innovative projects and products in various fields of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology.
