The New Industrial Revolution

Abstract:
So now the new industrial revolution seems to be happening on a much smaller scale. Nanotechnology and computer aided design mean that this new revolution is a much smaller one, but even more effective. An erstwhile staple of science fiction and imagination, nanotechnology is a growing (in both potential and scepticism) sub-culture with potentially infinite possibilities. Controlling matter on an atomic scale, nanotechnology opens up potential for a whole new range of material with the capacity to drive forward advances in medicine and energy production immeasurably.
