UAH lands $1.17 million grant to improve cyber connectivity

Abstract:
The University of Alabama in Huntsville has received a $1.17 million grant from the National Science Foundation to improve cyber connectivity in the state, the school announced today.

The project, known as "Alabama Cyber Connections in Nanotechnology, Bioscience and Sensors," will provide high-speed connectivity to Alabama A&M University and the Hudson Alpha Institute of Biotechnology in Cummings Research Park as well as Alabama State University in Montgomery.
