Abstract:
Two area businesses won grants from the U.S. Department of Energy's Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs. Niowave, received grants for projects involving superconducting particle accelerators and components. Technova Corp. is working on using nanotechnology for sustainable construction products. Both expect to add jobs. That's a combined $3 million in good news to remind Greater Lansing that its innovative, high-tech firms are growing.
