UW-Whitewater nanotech research grants

Abstract:
University of Wisconsin-Whitewater announced two nanotechnology research projects have won research grants: Eric Brown, an assistant professor of biological sciences, won a $35,954 grant from the UW System for his work on ways to keep surfaces free of contamination. Undergraduate Jay Blatnik and Brown won a $3,000 research grant from the Microscopy Society of America for work that could lead to better cancer treatments.
