"Dog Gone Smart epitomizes our company's core values of quality, innovation, and functionality, which has the welfare and safety of pets at the heart of the design," said Liz McGuinness, director of marketing for The Company of Animals. According to Mr. Steven Charman of Pet's Corner, a top UK retailer, "Sales of the Dog Gone Smart beds have really taken off since March." Mr. Charman credits robust sales with The Company of Animals brand positioning and customer education through in-store promotion and consumer print advertising.
Dog Gone Smart Pet Products is the worldwide exclusive licensee of NanoSphere® Dog Gone Smart™ fabric finishing technology in the pet industry. This certified nanotechnology is impregnated into the fabric without altering the fabric texture and feel, producing a non-visible structured textile surface that coat oil, dirt, and liquids cannot stick to. Residue can easily be rinsed off with water or machine washed. The fabric stands up to frequent washing and is highly abrasion resistant.
NanoSphere® was developed in Switzerland and carries the label "bluesign® approved". The bluesign® standard is based on the world's strictest EHS (environment, health and safety) stipulations for textiles and examines all the relevant components from the very beginning of the manufacturing process. Dog Gone Smart Pet Products are also bacteriostatic, which inhibits the spread of bacteria that can cause odor. Since 1979, The Company of Animals has built its reputation on making quality, innovative pet products and are highly regarded as the training and behavior specialists in the marketplace.
The Dog Gone Smart family of dog and cat bed, pet apparel and horse wear products can be purchased at large retailers like Pet Food Express, Joyful Honda in Japan, and Fressnaph in Europe, as well as U.S. and international distributors covering 34 countries on 4 continents.
*NanoSphere® is registered trademark of Schoeller Technologies AG - Switzerland
