Morton Arnsdorf of the University of Chicago dies in car accident

Abstract:
University of Chicago cardiologist Dr Morton F Arnsdorf died last week in a chain-reaction highway collision as he drove from work to his home in Beverly Shores, IN. He was 69.

Arnsdorf was "best known for his basic research on abnormal heart rhythms and the molecular structure of drugs to treat them and [as] a pioneer in applying nanotechnology to the study of biomedical problems," according to a University of Chicago statement that further details his career accomplishments and includes remembrances from colleagues.
