Symposium considers cyborg future
Abstract:
The University of Wollongong is hosting a three-day symposium looking at the social implications of the emerging technology.
Among the topics to be discussed in two weeks will be internet filtering and regulation and nanotechnology in health care.
A spokesman for the event, Dr Greg Adamson, says he expects there will be opposing views on microchipping humans.
