NanoViricides to raise $40M through occasional stock sales

Abstract:
Drug maker NanoViricides Inc. has filed documents stating that it will look to raise up to $40 million through the occasional sale of company stock, for as-yet undefined general corporate purposes.

The shelf registration statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has not yet become effective, officials said, so no immediate offering has begun. The registration covers a sale period of three years.
