Abstract:
New Zealand researchers are looking at a way of harnessing the power of the sun through nanotechnology. A report in The Listener says scientists from Victoria University and Industrial Research Ltd have been making solar cells 50,000 times thinner than the width of human hair. The idea is to incorporate these in house paint, which will power your home. When used inside, these same nanoparticles will emit light and become your interior lighting.
