Hinton to get $2.8 million for technology

Abstract:
Defense technology development in Hinton would be financed with a $2.8 million outlay contained in the Department of Defense's appropriation bill, Rep. Nick Rahall, D-W.Va., announced Wednesday.

Money is intended to support three major defense initiatives in the Hinton area, including $800,000 for an Advanced Technical Information Support Systems at Information Research Corp., a like amount for Anti-Corrosion Nanotechnology Solutions and $1.2 million for the Army/Marine Corps Logistics Interoperability Demonstration both at ManTech.
