Y-Carbon expanding to Bucks

Abstract:
Y-Carbon Inc., a King of Prussia-based developer of high-performance porous carbon materials, is scheduled to announce today that it is expanding manufacturing operations to Lower Bucks County. The Drexel University spin-off has been awarded $149,938 from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to continue developing nanotechnology for use in a variety of markets, including energy, water, and medicine, said U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy (D., Bucks County).
