Growing Entrepreneur and Venture Capital Community Meets Online in Berlin
Berlin, Germany | Posted on May 28th, 2009
What is it?
The European Venture Market, organised by Continua AG, is a platform for investors, service providers and entrepreneurs to meet, network and further develop business ideas and projects, in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. During the event the participating entrepreneurs will be able to pitch their business projects for around 5 minutes to a crowd of interested investors and service providers. The two conference days will also feature keynotes speeches, specific industry presentations, coffee and lunch breaks, a large dinner reception on the Thursday night and, finally, a themed club party on the Friday night.
A day before the two conferencing day, Continua's two executives, with a selected panel of service providers and investors, will meet the attending entrepreneurs to offer content coaching on the company pitches.
Who participates?
The participants of the European Venture Market are keen entrepreneurs, investors and service providers from all over Europe with a common goal: to enhance communication across the European borders. Moreover, they all share an interest and are active in the European start-ups and early stage companies field within a variety of sectors (ICT, Nanotech, Cleantech, New Media …).
Where does it take place?
Meeting twice a year, both in the Spring and in the Winter, the European Venture Market takes place in Berlin in Germany. Why Berlin? Berlin is an ever-flourishing cosmopolitan city, at the forefront of Europe with its thriving creative and technology industry. An exciting city to visit, it is also an easily accessible location from most points in Europe.
When can you join us?
After a successful event on the 19th and 20th of May 2009 at the Steinbeis Hochschule in Berlin, we are now looking forward to welcoming participants at the beautiful Hotel de Rome, Berlin, on the 5th and 6th of November 2009. Registration for the event is already open on our website.
