Second International Conference on Chemicals Management starts in Geneva

Abstract:
The Second International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM2) began in Geneva today with the aim of assessing progress on the lengthy action plan known as the strategic international approach to chemicals management (SAICM) as well as reviewing its own modus operandi. ICCM2 will also consider the future of the Intergovernmental Forum on Chemical Safety as well as four emerging policy issues: nanotechnology, electronic waste, lead in paints and chemicals in products.
