USC to get $12.5 million nanotechnology grant

Abstract:


USC today will announce a $12.5 million U.S. Department of Energy grant to conduct energy-related nanotechnology research.

The research grant, the largest in university history, was awarded by Dr. Kenneth Reifsnider, who heads the university's solid oxide fuel cell program.

Reifsnider and his team of researchers were recruited to USC through the state-funded endowed chairs program.
