Meeting of state scientific and technical organizations' leaders attended by representatives of the International Science Academies' Association resulted into a decision of creation a Cooperation Council of Fundamental Science of CIS member
CIS Cooperation Council on Fundamental Science to be created
Kyrgyzstan | Posted on October 5th, 2008The initiative voiced by Sharipa Jorobekova head of Kyrgyz National Academy of Science was supported by Kazakhstan, Belarus, Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Participants asked Kyrgyz side to introduce required agreements project for CIS Chief Executives Council as applicable.
Russia's initiative of creating an International Innovation Center of Nanotechnology and Azerbaijan's initiative on International Scientific Centers on Caspian Sea problems and mud volcanism study was also supported by the participants of the session.
