A medicinal chemist with over ten years postdoctoral experience in research, project management and consulting, Dr Fisher helped develop the biotech cluster in the Northwest of England and became a founder of the Northwest Genetics Knowledge Park. He has extensive experience with internationalising biotech companies and has helped a number of biotechs win business and develop partnerships overseas. Commenting on the appointment, BNC's CEO, Dr David Sarphie said; "Since our launch last year, BNC has won a number of high value contracts to develop bionanotech solutions for a variety of organisations. This exciting period of growth meant that we needed someone with the right blend of scientific knowledge, product development experience and commercial know-how, to manage programmes and expand our new business opportunities. Mike is the perfect fit."
