Sci-fi suit making a big splash

With advances in sport science, artificial materials and nanotechnology, it may not be long before gear will be tailored to the individual, says Katz.

"It might be possible to customize to the person's body weight, perspiration rate and who knows what else," he says. "There is no limit to it."
