Nanophase Technologies (Nasdaq: NANX), a technology leader in nanomaterials and advanced nanoengineered products, announced that the Company plans to release earnings for the second quarter of 2008 on July 22 at approximately 3:00 PM CDT, 4:00 PM EDT. Nanophase has rescheduled its quarterly conference call for July 22 at 4:00 PM CDT, 5:00 PM EDT, which will be hosted by Joseph Cross, president and CEO, and Jess Jankowski, CFO.

Nanophase has rescheduled its second quarter investor's call from Thursday, July 17th to Tuesday, July 22nd in order to be able to better discuss financial results at that time. In an effort to accelerate the normal investor communications cycle, the Company was trying to complete the quarterly close and information accumulation process a week earlier than is typical. However, given limited resources and the Fourth of July holiday, an additional week is needed to complete the required analysis.
