NanoBusiness 2008 Conference Returns to NYC Next Week, Gathering Hundreds of CEOs, Investors, Scientists and Government Leaders to Explore the Busines

New York, NY | Posted on May 2nd, 2008

The NanoBusiness Alliance, the world's leading nanotechnology trade association, today announced that their seventh annual conference on the business of nanotechnology -- NanoBusiness 2008 -- will be held May 4 - 6 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. Complete event information can be found at http://www.nanobusiness2008.com.

NanoBusiness 2008 will focus on the business side of nanotech innovations across multiple sectors, including cleantech, advanced materials, next generation electronics, medical diagnostics and pharmaceuticals. The event is expected to attract hundreds of business leaders, investors, venture capitalists, scientists, engineers, and government officials. These visionaries who are driving the nanotechnology revolution will participate in over three days of comprehensive corporate presentations, in-depth panels, executive keynotes, educational sessions, and networking opportunities.

"Nanotechnology is the frontier of innovation across almost every sector of our economy. Our future economic competitiveness, particularly in the manufacturing sector, depends upon it," said Sean Murdock, Executive Director of the NanoBusiness Alliance. "Nanotechnology is improving our quality of life and enabling a cleaner future for all of us. These statements may sound like hype, but they are, in fact, reality. Nanotechnology's impact is real, growing and will be proven at our NanoBusiness 2008 conference next week."

Highlights include keynotes from Sen. John Kerry, Congressman Bart Gordon, executives from Baxter, Eastman Kodak and IBM, and financiers Josh Wolfe and Scott Livingston. Attendees will also have an opportunity to engage with the CEOs of leading companies bringing next generation technology to market.

Conference sessions include:
