Platypus Technologies, LLC is pleased to announce that Ms. Maria Perr has joined the Company as Director of Marketing as of February 4, 2008. Ms. Perr has extensive experience in market research, international marketing, and technical marketing, with over 20 years of marketing experience for Pierce Biotechnology, Perbio Sciences, and Fisher Scientific. Most recently, Ms. Perr served as Senior Manager, Large Volume and Custom Business for Thermo Fisher Scientific where she created and managed the large volume & custom sales department. Ms. Perr received an MBA from Northern Illinois University, an M.Sc. in Pharmacology and Immunology from Indiana University Medical School, and a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Indiana University.
