Rising stars share their promise and potential

Abstract:
Keshab and Shubra Gangopadhyay, along with their student co-owners and researchers, represented NEMS/MEMS Works LLC, a university-based nanotechnology firm that produces microscopic components for use in health care, defense and energy applications.

One to Many Solutions of Macon has developed a technology for use in law enforcement that will provide personal identification information - such as fingerprints and retinal scans - uniformly to various security agencies.

Another MU engineering professor, Hao Li, through his company Nanova Inc., has developed the technology for a plasma dental brush that will eliminate the necessity for those noisy, smelly dental drills. Say Hallelujah!
