Nanoco join the big players in Japan for nano tech 2008

Nanoco Technologies Ltd, Manchester, UK 11 January 2008

Nanoco are going back to Japan in February to join the world‚s largest nanotechnology exhibition and conference, nano tech 2008. Nanoco Technologies is unique in the nanomaterials market as a company that manufacture large quantities of quantum dots and partner major R&D and blue-chip industrial organisations in the development of quantum dot applications. Nano tech 2008 will be a great opportunity to build on the growth Nanoco has already enjoyed.

Nanoco will be attending for the fourth year running. Speaking of previous years attendance, Michael Edelman, CEO of Nanoco Technologies commented: „We have met key customers, development partners and investors at previous nanotech Tokyo conferences.‰ With 840 booths, this year‚s exhibition should top last year‚s record turn out of 48,565 Visitors, 484 Exhibitors. „nano tech 2008 is a great platform to show our strengths to a highly focussed international audience and develop new relationships that lead to new strategic partnerships‰, Michael said, „This is a key event for Nanoco in 2008‰

This will be the seventh nano tech event and this year it covers the entire nano marketplace and creates a place for business encounters at Tokyo Big Sight by concurrently holding; nano tech 2008: the world's largest nanotechnology exhibition, Nano Bio Expo 2008: Exhibition uniting biotechnology, nanotechnology and business,ASTEC2008&METEC'08:

From 13th to 15th February 2008, Nanoco Technologies Ltd will be at the exhibition held at East Exhibition Hall 3,4,5,6 & Conference Tower, Tokyo Big Sight, Japan. You can find us at our booth in the UK pavilion. Nanoco has booth B49.

Nanoco will launch its latest range of cadmium free quantum dots as well as a prototype of a QD LED Lighting device. The company will also launch its distribution agreement with Sigma Aldrich, the world‚s largest supplier for specialty chemicals. From 2008, Nanoco is selling its NanoDot range as well as its Core Particles through Sigma Aldrich.

About Nanoco Technologies Ltd
About Nanoco (www.nanocotechnologies.com)
Nanoco is a nano-material science company that holds patents related to industrial-scale production of Quantum Dots. Quantum Dots are Fluorescent semi-conducting nanocrystals that can be used in a range of applications from biological imaging to next generation solar cells and displays. The University of Manchester spinout was founded in 2001 and works in partnership with technology driven corporations to bring quantum dot based applications to the market around the world.

About nano tech 2008 ( http://www.ics-inc.co.jp/nanotech/en/index.html )
nano tech 2008 is organised by the nano tech executive committee.
In recent years, nanotechnology driven manufacturing technology has shown huge advancements having an especially large impact on various product applications. Based on optical lithography, new technologies such as ink-jet and nano imprint are creating new waves in ultra-fine processing technology making changes in processing and process implementation entering new markets with high-functional materials. Additionally innovative coating technologies strengthen the durability of precision metal molds making possible the practical application of products which were difficult for mass produce. This matching between technology and manufacturing is what all users in the industries such as Electronics, Automobile, Machinery, Medicine, Chemical, Printing have been seeking which offers a huge potential for business opportunities. Again this year, we will be covering the entire nano marketplace and creating a place for business encounters at Tokyo Big Sight by concurrently holding; nano tech 2008: the world's largest nanotechnology exhibition, Nano Bio Expo 2008: Exhibition uniting biotechnology, nanotechnology and business,ASTEC2008&METEC'08: Specialist exhibition for surface technology, treatment and processing. Exhibitors will enjoy a powerful synergy effect with visitors to all concurrently held exhibitions. We look forward to your participation.
