Unidym’s Dr. Paul Drzaic Speaking at Materials Research Society Fall Meeting

MENLO PARK, CA | Posted on November 27th, 2007

Dr. Drzaic will discuss recent development work performed within Unidym, as well as research performed by Unidym founder Professor George Gruner at UCLA, in the area of printable carbon nanotube electronics. Current and potential applications of carbon nanotube electronics, including touch panels, displays, and photovoltaics, will also be noted. This invited lecture will be held in the MRS Symposium on "Large-Area Processing and Patterning for Active Optical and Electronic Devices," which will cover state of the art development in large area and flexible electronics from around the world.

About the Materials Research Society

In the late 1960s, a few forward-looking individuals, with an eye toward advancing the cause of interdisciplinary research, envisioned a "materials-blind" society and made that vision a reality—the Materials Research Society. The Society's core principles were interdisciplinarity, focused symposia, and greater interaction among researchers. Today, MRS has over 14,000 members--researchers in the ever-expanding field of materials science.
