CombiMatrix Corporation (Nasdaq:CBMXD) and Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTG) announced today that CombiMatrix Corporation completed the split off from Acacia Research Corporation through the redemption of all outstanding shares of Acacia Research-CombiMatrix common stock.

Acacia Research Corporation Chairman and CEO Paul Ryan commented, "Today we completed the split off of CombiMatrix Corporation.
