UK starts plastic electronics research center

Abstract:
Cenamps, a national centre for nanotechnology in the U.K., has hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for PETeC, a £10 million (about $20 million) plastics electronics technology center at Sedgefield, near Durham, England.

PETeC is expected to become a national prototyping operation providing clean rooms and laboratories, as well as production and testing equipment which will be available on an open access basis.
