Raymor starts up second powder plant and receives $1.23 million titanium powder order
Abstract:
Raymor Industries Inc, a leading developer and producer of single-walled carbon nanotubes, nanomaterials and advanced materials, announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, AP and C Advanced Powders and Coatings established in Montreal, Canada, in 2004, has commenced operations on its second metal powder production unit. As a result, AP and C has received new orders for the third and fourth quarter of 2007 totalling $1,23 million for the supply of its spherical titanium (CP Ti) powders from a major US orthopaedic implant company. With over $2 million in orders for 2007 from this client, whose identity is protected by confidentiality agreements, indications are that orders from this client will be renewed, at a minimum, in 2008.
