Brouse McDowell, one of the area's premiere regional business law firms, announced the addition of James S. Hogg as a partner in the firm's Corporate and Business Practice and Associate Dominic A. Frisina to its Intellectual Property Practice in Downtown Akron.

With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Hogg will focus on the core areas
of corporate securities and merger/acquisition work as part of the
Corporate and Business Practice. Mr. Hogg has counseled Weatherhead 100,
Fortune 50, NASDAQ and New York Stock Exchange companies in industries
ranging from manufacturing to e-commerce. His extensive experience includes
initial and secondary public offerings and private placements of
securities, as well as tax exempt financings, and acquisitions and
divestitures from $250,000 to $650 million. Jamie has also served as
general counsel for securities and corporate advice for both public and
private issuers.

A member of the American, Ohio, and Cleveland Bar Associations, Jamie
received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and was born
in New York, New York.

In the Intellectual Property Group, Dominic A. Frisina's practice
encompasses patents, trademarks, copyrights and related legal matters.
Before becoming a patent lawyer, Mr. Frisina worked as a chemist for
approximately eight years -- a solid foundation that allowed him to most
recently draft and prosecute patent cases in the areas of Chemicals,
Polymers, Semiconductors, Biotechnology, Advanced Materials,
*Nanotechnology, Semiconductors, Medical Instruments, Power Generation,
Fuel Cells and Software.

Mr. Frisina has a Masters in Chemistry from Johns Hopkins and received
his law degree from the University of Louisville in 2004. He is a member of
the American and Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Associations, the
Akron and Ohio State Bar Associations, Akron Law Library and American
Chemical Society. Mr. Frisina is admitted to practice before the Federal
Circuit Court of Appeals, US States Patent and Trademark Office, and in the
State of Ohio. Dominic is also member of the Greater Akron Chamber of
Commerce, Akron Rotary and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
