Local public institutions of higher learning should allow students to form linkages with other parties in an effort to produce high quality human capital capable of meeting future challenges, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.
He further said that students would lose out if they were deprived of opportunities to advance themselves or new courses in biotechnology and nanotechnology, for example, were not introduced.
