Home > Press > Positive order intake for Obducat - one of which involves a Sindre™ production system
Abstract:
Obducat has received two orders for its NIL systems from the Far East. One of these orders concerns the Sindre™ 60 system, which was recently launched. The customer is a world leading player in its industry, and the Sindre™ 60 system will be employed in commercial production. The second order, an Eitre™ 6 system, was placed by a well-reputed national R&D institute. Total order value for these NIL systems amounts to about SEK 9 million.

The deal for Sindre™ 60 includes a license agreement for the patented technology on which the Obducat NIL technology is based. The customer having ordered the Sindre™ 60 system has the option to purchase a further system and the potential order value is about SEK 7 million.
The wholly-owned subsidiary Obducat CamScan Ltd. has won three new orders for high tech SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopes). The deal is valued at about SEK 7 million. One of the orders is subject to approval by British authorities.
"We are of course very pleased about these commercially important steps forward. With the order for a Sindre™ system, there are now two players, leading in their sphere, utilising our technology for production of commercial products. The expanded product capacity enables the customer to secure delivery to a greater number of end users, and to accomplish increased component volumes by implementing them in new applications. We also have a very positive view of the progress in our Obducat CamScan subsidiary, where the products now sold indeed constitute "high-end" products," says Patrik Lundström, CEO, Obducat AB.
