Mimos appoints new chief scientist
Abstract:
Applied technology research organisation Mimos Bhd has appointed a Lithuanian university professor, Valentinas Snitka, as its new chief scientist.
Snitka, who takes up his appointment next month, attended Mimos' first annual gala dinner here on June 5.
Snitka will be responsible for the micro-nano technology at Mimos, which includes the laboratories being established there in collaboration with Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and South Korea's Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI).
