"This partnership marks an important milestone for VeruTEK in terms of executing on our business plan," said Dr. John Collins, CEO of VeruTEK. "As a technology company our strategy is to partner with leaders in the implementation of environmental remedies and MECX is clearly a leader in this area."

"Partnering with VeruTEK, a premier technology developer for chemical based remediation, is a critical development for growth in technology offerings to both commercial and federal clients," said Doug Carvel, PE, President of MECX a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. "This partnership will ensure that all our customers will have access to the most effective and efficient technologies available for rapid treatment of organic contamination."

VeruTEK's Technology Safely Destroys Surface and Subsurface Contaminants Including All Types of NAPLs

VeruTEK has developed a line of green, FDA-approved surfactant solvents that, when combined with chemical oxidation, actually remove complex contaminants in both soil and groundwater through a controlled dissolution and desorption process. VeruTEK's S-ISCO™ (surfactant enhanced in-situ chemical oxidation) eliminates the need for excavation and thus is a safer, more effective, less disruptive, and in most cases less costly solution than traditional remediation solutions.

MECX is a leader in application systems for remedying soils and groundwater. They are known in the environmental remediation industry for their quality design and implementation of soil and groundwater remediation projects.
