Career counselling: making the right choices

Abstract:
Through the interaction students realised that life after Intermediate was not just securing a seat in a top engineering or medical college but emergence of varied fields like Pharmacy, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Bio-informatics and Architecture were offering much more opportunities with hefty pays.

While majority of questions centred on making careers in Information Technology, Pharmacy sectors both in India and abroad, students also sought advice in choosing the best possible combinations of pure sciences, including biochemistry, genetics, microbiology and forensic sciences.
