Altair Nanotechnologies Announces Voting Results of 2007 Annual Meeting

RENO, NV | Posted on June 4th, 2007

Altair Nanotechnologies Inc. (Nasdaq: ALTI) announces the voting results of its 2007 Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on May 30, 2007 in Reno, Nev. The company's shareholders of record as of April 10, 2007 approved three proposals as listed in the Altair Nanotechnologies Definitive Proxy Statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 23, 2007:

* Election of all seven members of the Altair Nanotechnologies board of directors.
* Authorization of the appointment of Perry Smith LLP as the company's independent auditors; and, authorization of the company's audit committee to fix the auditors' remuneration.
* Authorization of an increase in the number of shares available under the Altair Nanotechnologies Inc. 2005 Stock Incentive Plan to an aggregate of 9,000,000 Common Shares.
