One of the Pacific Northwest's most prominent venture capitalists is winding down his responsibilities at his firm with an eye to going it alone.
David Chen, a very big fish in the small pond of Oregon's venture capital community, aims to create a new investment vehicle that will focus on the areas he has been long championing—cleantech and nanotechnology.
