Nanopore channels detect DNA sequences
Abstract:
U.S. scientists have shown how "nanopore channels" can be used to rapidly and precisely detect specific sequences of DNA.
Researchers at Purdue University's Birck Nanotechnology Center said the technology can be used as a potential tool for genomic applications in medicine, environmental monitoring and homeland security.
