School seeks to pair students, nanotechnology
Abstract:
Whitesboro schools want to partner with local colleges and universities to give students a window into the nanotechnology industry — a move that would expose students to 21st century careers and encourage them to stay in the Mohawk Valley, school and elected officials say.
"This area of science is such a rich career field," Superintendent Arnold Kaye said. "It would provide our students in Whitesboro an opportunity to pursue a well-paid career right here in Central New York."
